K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: A Knight’s Tale

Time: approx. 160 min.

This movie is about a poor squire whose knight was killed in a jousting match. The laws that govern jousting stipulate that participating in jousting is reserved to the nobility. The squire, having no food and no way of making money, decides to go in his fallen knight’s place to compete. He creates an alias and lies about his lineage to be able to participate. Overall, I thought this was an entertaining movie. I didn’t think the music selection was very appropriate, in that I didn’t realize that the music groups Queen and War were so popular in medieval times. At times, with the music and some of the humor, I thought the movie was trying to hard to be hip. Anyway, I thought this was a pretty good movie. I would recommend watching it.
