This movie chronicles the life of the great boxer starting when he was known as Cassias Clay and shocked the world by beating Sonny Linston for the championship through when he beat George Forman in the Thrilla in Manilla as Muhammed Ali. This is a very lethargic movie. It doesn't show very much boxing action but rather shows more about his life as a muslim and his womanizing ways. This movie also shows about Ali's batttle with the U.S. Government over his refusal to go to Viet Nam. I was expected more from the movie. I don't really know what else I was expected, but I wanted more. As far as boxing movie go, I would stick with the Rocky series, unless you're just a big Muhammed Ali fan.
