K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: All About Eve

This 1950 movie is number 16 on the AFI list, and received 14 Oscar nominations. In this film, Bette Davis plays an aging Hollywood superstar, Margo, who takes on Eve (Anne Baxter) as a young protegee. Everyone takes to Eve and Margo starts to become jealous of Eve due to her youth, good looks, and popularity. Margo begins to suspect that Eve is trying to take over her life in Hollywood. The question is she correct, or is she just paranoid? I thought this movie was pretty decent. I liked the movie critic in this film, I thought he did a good job. From seeing Bette Davis, I didn't see what was so great about her eyes. Maybe she looked quite a bit better in her younger days. In your a fan of old movies, you would probably like this movie.
