K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: Bonnie and Clyde

Starring: Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway

Co-starring: Michael J. Pollard, Gene Hackman, Estelle Parsons

Rated NR

Time: approx. 112 min.

This is the 1967 movie about the famous bank robbing couple Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. This movie may be the original Movie for Guys Who Like Movies, since it has a very simple plot. Girl first meets guy. They decide to go on the road robbing banks. There it is, the whole movie. Along the way, Bonnie and Clyde pick up a driver, played by Michael J. Pollard. Clyde's brother and sister-in-law (Gene Hackman and Estelle Parsons) also join the gang. There's lots of tommy gun action in this movie. The movie concludes with the bloody ending of the gang. Other sweet things about the movie include Uncle Jesse from the Dukes of Hazard and Gene Wilder also guest star in the movie. They also play sweet Dukes of Hazard style get away music throughout the movie. Number 27 on the AFI Top 100, and winner of a couple of Oscars, Best Supporting Actress and Best Cinematographer, I believe. All and all, I thought this was a petty decent action movie and worth watching if on tv or you can rent it for cheap.
