K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: The Bourne Identity

Time: approximately 118 minutes

Matt Damon plays a guy who is rescued from the ocean by a fishing boat. He has several gun shot wounds that they patch up. When he wakes up, he realizes he has complete amnesia. So the fisherman drop him off and give him some money and send him on his way to figure out who he is. He discovers that he has a large amount of talent with the martial arts, guns, and that he is highly intelligent. He finds enough clues to find a safety deposit box with various IDs, passports, cash, and a gun. Then he soon realizes that he is also be hunted. He pays off a woman (Franka Potente) to drive him and to help him try to figure everything out. I thought this was a pretty boring movie. I like Matt Damon, but I don't buy in to him being an action star. I thought the ending would be impossible to predict while going along throughout the movie. I don't think this movie is worth renting.
