K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Cellular

Kim Basinger plays Jessica Martin an average, everyday mother who is suddenly kidnapped and held for no apparent reason. In the room where Jessica is being held is a smashed telephone that she somehow MacGyverizes into working condition. By tapping a couple of wires together she finally gets number that actually works. The number that Jessica gets to work is of the cell phone of a guy named Ryan. Now Ryan is a college age kid that doesn't really believe Jessica's story of being kidnapped, but she convinces him not to hang up. When he realizes she isn't lying, he goes to great lengths to keep her on the line while he attempts to get help to her. William H. Macy plays a cop and Eric Christian Olsen (straight outta of B-dorf) plays Ryan's friend. I thought this movie was good. It has a very good pace throughout the movie and it has a good story that keeps you guessing as to why she's being held. All in all, I enjoyed this movie a lot and would recommend seeing it.
