K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Jerry Seinfeld: Comedian

This is a documentary about Jerry Seinfeld developing his new standup act on the road. This takes place after Seinfeld had quit doing the television show. He had already taken some time off and decided to go back on the road with all new material. Seinfeld had decided that he wasn't going to use any old jokes at all. This documentary shows the development of the act from a few minutes at small New York clubs to a hour long set all over the country. It was weird seeing Seinfeld being so unpolished with his act and his nervousness. They show Seinfeld struggling on stage trying to remember jokes and also be heckled by the crowd. This documentary also follows a young unkown comedian named Orny Adams. He's a young, cocky guy that really isn't too funny. Well this wasn't at all what I was expecting when I rented it. I thought it was just going to be a performance of Seinfeld's set. I wasn't all that impressed with it. I didn't think the new comedy was all that funny. I wouldn't recommend renting this unless you just have to see everything that involves Seinfeld.
