K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: The Day After Tomorrow

The setting of this movie is present day and the Greenhouse Effect has turned out to be a bit of a larger problem than most people had thought. The Greenhouse Effect has caused some of the polar ice caps to melt thus causing the temperatures in the oceans to change and this leads to.....bad things, man. Extreme weather: floods, tornados, etc. start hitting both coast lines. Dennis Quaid places a paleoclimatologist and is studying this stuff and he tries to warn the world of potential disaster before this stuff starts happening, but of course, no one listens. I was pretty excited about this movie. I thought the previews looked pretty cool. This movie was good. It came close to, but didn't quite meet my expectations going into this movie. However, I would still recommend going and seeing this movie sometime over the summer months. Lastly, I like Dennis Quaid in this movie. He always comes off as such a nice guy, you got to like him.
