K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: Dr. No

Time: approximately 110 minutes

This is the first James Bond movie. This is the movie where the famous "Bond, James Bond" introduction was first done. In this movie, James Bond is sent down to Jamaica to investigate the death of another agent who was killed while investigating some strange happenings that occured on a private island owned by Dr. No. It turns out that Dr. No is a member of the organization SPECTRE which stands for something that I forgot. I know the last few letters are for Terrorism, Revenge, and Extortion. Dr. No is angry at the world that he was invited to work on important scientific projects, so he is intent on destroying the US space program. It is another complicated Bond plot that is hard to follow, but who cares, it still is the beginning of the King of smooth James Bond. This movie could have used a few more Bond gadgets, for "Q" has not been introduced yet in the series. This isn't my favorite Bond movie, but still worth watching since it was the first.
