K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb

This is a Stanley Kubrick movie starring Peter Sellers, as 3 characters, and George C. Scott. It also is the film debut of James Earl Jones. This movie is a black-comedy during the cold war between the US and Russia when a high-ranking US officer who bypasses the chain-of-command and launches an air strike against the Russians. The result of course would lead to a nuclear war. This movie was pretty funny. Peter Sellers and George C. Scott do a good job. This is the movie that has the famous scene of a guy wearing a cowboy hat riding a bomb as it falls to the earth. This movie was number 26 on the AFI Top 100 and the number 3 comedy on the list. I thought this movie was pretty funny and worth watching.
