Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Friday Night Lights

This movie, Varsity Blues, I mean Friday Night Lights, is based on a book by H.G. Bissinger and it follows the 1988 season of a high school football team in Odessa Texas. It has the usual plot lines of the coach dealing with injuries, a kid being pressured by his father, a kid that doesn't want to play, etc. I thought this movie was decent. Billy Bob did a pretty good job playing the coach. I thought the assistant coach yelling all the time was kind of entertaining. This movie is no Hoosiers, but still worth renting.
