K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: The Girl Next Door

Elisha Cuthbert plays a high school senior named Matthew. Matthew is an honor student and student body president who is getting ready to graduate and go to college. Next door, Mattew's new neighbor moves in and she just happens to be an ultra hot girl named Danielle. Furthermore, she just happens to be an ex-porn star. Matthew instantly falls head over heels for her and starts spending all of his time with her. Matthew discovers that Danielle is trying to start a new life and that she just wants to be a regular person. Some stuff goes wrong and Danielle is forced to go back with her old producer and get back into he business. Matthew is trying to do anything he can to prevent this from happening. I wasn't really expecting much going into this movie. It is in the same genre as American Pie and Can't Hardly Wait, but no where near as funny. I did find Danielle's producer friend pretty entertaining and Matthew's sidekick friends caused a chuckle every once in a while, but overall, not too funny. Also, Luther Reigns from Smackdown has a brief role in this movie. All in all, I would steer clear of this movie and head towards American Pie or Can't Hardly Wait.
