K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Austin Powers in Goldmember

In the third installment of the Austin Powers triology, Dr. Evil is back and has a plan to bring a scientist, Goldmember, back from the 1970s so he can build a tractor beam that would crash a meteor into the Earth unless they are paid big cash. Austin Powers of course is trying to stop him. I thought this movie was pretty funny. I was a little soured on the second Austin Powers movie, but I thought this one was better than it, but not as good as the first. There are some cameos in this movie from some big time movie stars. I thought Danny De Vito's cameo was the funniest. I watched this movie on Starz so that was a little annoying. Apparently, Starz takes it upon themselves to remove all the F-bombs and nudity from the movie. I'm not a big fan of removing stuff from movies especially nudity (unless, of course, it's male nudity, then feel free to take it out). It's just annoying when they just remove the F-bomb by just turning off the sound. Anyway, this is my own fault for watching it on Starz. I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. I wasn't a big fan of the second movie and I was expecting this to be worse, but I was wrong. I would recommend renting this movie.
