K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie:  Guilty by Suspicion

Starring:  Robert De Niro, Annette Bening

Co-starring:  George Wendt

Rated PG-13

Time: approx. 105 min.

In a film written and directed by Irwin Winkler, the producer of Rocky, Robert De Niro plays the role of David Merrill.  Merrill is a film director in the 1950s that is accused of being a communist by the United States government.  This movie shows how he is ostracized from the Hollywood community for not giving the names of his “communist” friends.  This is a pretty interesting movie.  From the wardrobe and hairstyles of the cast, it did not look like the 1950s in this movie to me.  Martin Scorsese also makes an appearance in front of the camera in this film.  All in all, this movie is worth renting.
