K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: The Italian Job

Starring: Marky Mark, Edward Norton, Charlize Theron

Co-starring: Seth Green, Donald Sullivan

Rated PG-13

Time: approx. 110 min.

This is a remake of the 1969 Michael Caine movie. Marky Mark's character has a crew of professional thieves who stole a large amount of gold bars from Italy. After the job is done, one of his crew (played by Edward Norton), double-crosses the crew and makes off with all of the gold. Well the crew reassembles a year or two later to exact their revenge by stealing the gold back. This was a decent movie. It had a lot of quasi-stars in it. It would be a hell of a lot cooler if it had some more kick butt criminal movie guys in it, like De Niro or Pacino. I know what you're saying, I say that with every movie, but it's a hard thing to argue with me on it though. This movie could have also used some more action, i.e. a little more gun play. This movie would be worth renting. I don't think I would recommend bothering to see it in the theatres.
