K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: The Ladykillers

In this movie from the Coen Brothers, Tom Hanks plays a professor who takes up residence at an old lady's house. He claims he is taking some time off from teaching and in his spare time he plays in an orchestra. He convinces to let Tom Hanks' character and his friends practice in her basement. It turns out that they are actually digging a tunnel into the vault of the nearby casino to rob it. Once discovered by the old lady, the crew has to decide what to do with her so she doesn't talk to the authorities. As is the style with most of the Coen Brothers' movies, the humor is a little darker than the average movie. I thought Tom Hanks was very funny in this movie. Also the other guys in Hanks' gang, which includes Marlon Waynes, were also pretty funny. I enjoyed this movie and say it is worth renting.
