K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: The Maltese Falcon

Humphrey Bogart plays private investigator Sam Spade who is hired by a woman to stakeout a guy for her. During the stakeout, Spade's partner is killed. So a murder mystery ensues and Spade has to stay one step ahead of all of the players and figure out what the real story is. Turns out that all is centered around a priceless artifact, the Maltese Falcon. This movie is number 23 on the AFI Top 100 list. The movie was made in the early 1940s, consequently there is some pretty sweet dialogue especially by Humphrey Bogart. I thought this was a entertaining movie that is worth watching.
