K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Napoleon Dynamite

Napoleon Dynamite is the name of a high school kid that is a bit of a nerd. In this movie, Napoleon meets a new best friend and starts to pursue the ladies. I was pretty disappointed by this movie. This was one of those comedies that was built up too much for me. I heard from several people that it was the funniest movie since sliced bread. I had the same problem with Meet the Parents. Maybe this movie is just one of those that you have to watch a few times to appreciate. Or perhaps the problem was that I watched it sober. I don't know what you have to do, but I didn't find this movie to be very funny. I did enjoy the martial arts teacher guy. I was leery going into this movie because it was produced by MTV, and it looks like I was right. All in all, I wouldn't bother renting this movie.
