K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: O’ Brother, Where Art Thou?

Time: approx. 93 min.

This movie is another movie from the Cohen Brothers. These are the guys who made such movie as: The Big Lebowski, Fargo, and a couple others that I can’t think of right now. This movie is about three convicts who escape from prison when they were working on a chain gang. They escape in order to find their treasure, but it turns out that George Clooney has an alternative motive. According to the DVD, this movie is loosely based on the book The Odyssey, written by Homer. I’ve never read the book, so I can’t really comment on that. This movie has a few funny parts, but it is not the type of movie that you will laugh at hysterically. If you are a big Cohen Brothers fan, you’ll probably like this movie, otherwise probably not. For my money, I’ll just stick with the Big Lebowski.
