K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: Old School

In this movie Luke Wilson's character is a guy in his thirties who breaks up with his live-in-girlfriend, thus needs a new place to live. He purchases a house on the campus of the local college. After he's already purchased the house, the evil dean that hates him for some reason gets the area rezoned so that you have to be part of the college to live on campus. So Luke Wilson's character and his buddies (played by Will Ferrell and Vince Vaughn) decide to start their own fraternity and turn the house into the frat house. This movie was kind of funny, but not hilarious like I was led to believe. I thought Vince Vaughn was pretty funny, like he is in most movies. He pretty much acts like his character from Swingers. Will Ferrell had his moments as well. This movie definitely could have been funnier. It had a good idea for a story. I'm sure it will spawn sequels. It is probably worth renting with a bunch of guys when you've had a few beers.
