K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review
Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: The Passion of the Christ
In this film directed Mel Gibson, James Caviezel plays Jesus during the last 12 hours on the day of His crucifixion. This is not your everyday garden variety Sunday School telling of this event. This is an extremely intense and gruesome picture of the day. This film shows in great detail the horrific torture of Jesus before the crucifixion. This movie is done in subtitles since everyone is speaking Latin and I believe some Arabic languages. I thought this was a very good film. I say again that it is not for the faint of heart since some of the scenes are quite graphic. I found it interesting how Mel Gibson portrayed Satan watching over all the events of the day. Even after all of the gruesome scenes, you end up leaving the theatre pretty pumped up because you know everything ends up being right because Jesus rises from the dead. There's lots of controversy surrounding this film because some are saying that it portrays the Jews badly. I don't see what this controversy is all about, since the whole gist of the Christian ideology is that Jesus had to die to save all of mankind so it wouldn't have mattered if he would have landed in Hawaii or Australia, the results would have been the same. I believe that you should check out this movie. Furthermore, I think that you should see this movie in the theatre. Also be sure to get to the theatre a little bit early since this movie starts right on time and there a no previews before it. Make sure that you don't have a weak stomach if you see this movie.
