K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: Rear Window

Time: approx. 115 min.

James Stewart plays J.B. Jeffries, a news-photographer, who is laid up in his apartment during a summer due to a broken leg. He has nothing to do to occupy his time, so he spends his days and nights spying on his neighbors through their windows. Due to a series of suspicious actions, Jeffries and his girlfriend, played by Grace Kelly, begin to believe that one of the neighbors, played by Raymond Burr, killed his own wife. Jeffries and his girlfriend try to get enough proof to convince the police. I thought this movie was pretty boring. It was a long time before anything happened at all in this movie. This movie is directed by Alfred Hitchcock and is number 42 on the AFI Top 100 list. I've liked other Hitchcock movies much better than this one. Suprisingly, this movie about a guy sitting around look out his window, was pretty dull. I don't think this movie is worth taking your time to rent.
