K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: Revenge of the Nerds

Starring: Anthony Edwards, Robert Carradine, Ted McGinley

Time: approx. 89 min.

Anthony Edwards and Robert Carradine play two college freshman nerds who are displaced out of their dorm room when the jocks take over the freshman dorm since their frat house burned down. Of course the nerds are subject to various pranks played on them by the jocks. All of the homeless nerds find a house to buy and decide to petition to become a greek fraternity of their own. The only national frat they can get to sponsor them is an all black fraternity. Naturally the nerd fraternity plots their revenge to get back at the evil jocks. All in all, this movie is somewhat funny. I do have the second movie in the series to watch, but I'm not imagining it will be that great. Surprisingly, this movie wasn't on the AFI list. This movie is totally 80s, and probably worth watching on late night cable if you get the chance.
