Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: The Rookie

A Disney movie about the true life story of Jim Morris. Jim Morris was a Major League hopeful whose career was ended before it got started due to injuries. Jim ends up becoming a high school chemistry teacher and baseball coach in Texas. To help motivate his players, he promises to try out for the Majors if his team wins districts. The kids win districts so he tries out. Turns out he ends up throwing harder then he had before, topping out at 98 mph, so he is giving an opportunity to pitch for the Tampa Bay Devil Ray organization. This is one of those good feel good baseball movies. You can't go wrong with baseball movies. This is an interesting story.
