K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review
Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: The Rundown
In this movie, The Rock plays Beck. For an occupation, Beck does collecting and other various jobs for the local mobster guy. Beck decides that he wants to get out of his line of work, but he agrees to do one last job for his boss. With this last big score, Beck will be able to open up his own restaurant. The job involves Beck going down to Brazil to find the boss' son, Travis (Seann William Scott), who is down there searching for treasure. It turns out that Travis is involved with the Brazilian crime boss, played by Christopher Walken, and he doesn't want Travis to leave. So everyone is searching for a big treasure and everyone is chasing one another. I thought this movie was pretty good. It is a pretty standard action movie flick. I was a little leery of The Rock being the next big action star, but he's growing on me and he did a good job in this movie. He sure is a heck of a lot better than that crappy Vin Diesel. Christopher Walken was also good and is funny in this movie. I always think he does a good job as the bad guy. Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a cameo appearance in this movie. I'm not sure if that was some sort of passing of the torch to The Rock or not. The Rock does have a little wrestling flashback in that he does bust out a Rock Bottom in one of the fight scenes. I was a little disappointed that he didn't take the time to deliver a People's Elbow. All in all, I think this movie is enjoyable and worth renting.
