Heres a short review of a recent movie Ive seen.

Movie: Shallow Hal
Starring: Jack Black, Jason Alexander, Gwyneth Paltrow
Co-starring: Tony Robbins
Rated PG-13
Time: approx. 114 min.
This movie is from the directors who did Kingpin, Dumb & Dumber, and others. Jack Black is a guy, Hal, who was influenced greatly by his father's dying words, "...it's all about hot, young, tail". So Hal only tried to go out with beautiful girls while ignoring the girls unattractive girls who might have better qualities to offer. Hal is stuck in an elevator with self-help guru Tony Robbins. During this time Tony Robbins gets Hal to see the light in that he only sees the inner-beauty of people. So now unattractive, good girls look like supermodels to Hal. Hal falls in love with a girl he thinks looks like Gwyneth Paltrow, but in actuality is extremely large. This movie had a few funny parts, but wasn't a gut-buster. It got a bit long. I like the other movies by these guys better.
