Movie: The Shawshank Redemption
This movie tells the tale of a banker, played by Tim Robbins, who is wrongly sent to prison for killing his wife and her lover. He becomes friends with Morgan Freeman's character on the inside. The movie deals with corruption of the warden and his staff and other prison life issues. All in all this is a very good movie. I highly recommend it. I'm sure it probably won some awards.
