K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: S.W.A.T.

Starring: Colin Farrell, Samuel L. Jackson, LL Cool J

Time: approx. 111 min.

Colin Farrell plays a member of a S.W.A.T. team who is dismissed from his position due to his partner's mess up. The police force decides to dust off one of its veteran S.W.A.T. commanders to help drum up some good publicity. So the guy they bring out of retirement is played by Samuel L. Jackson. He's given the freedom to choose his team, so he picks some of the people that the police chief doesn't want, pretty much just too make him mad. He chooses Colin Farrell's and LL Cool J's characters. There mission is to transport a international crime boss to a federal prison. The prisoner states on tv that he would give $100 million to anyone that can spring him from jail. With this offer on the table, every two bit criminal is trying to get him out. It is a pretty standard action movie. It has Colin Farrell and Samuel L. Jackson who apparently have to be in absolutely every movie these days. I would say this movie is decent enough to rent, but I wouldn't bother seeing it in the theatre.
