K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Troy

In this movie, a Trojan Prince (Orlando Bloom) runs off with the wife (Diane Kruger) of the King of Sparta. This leads to a large war that causes a decade long seige of Troy. Brad Pitt plays Achilles, the greatest warrior of the time. Achilles rolls with the Greeks, not because he necessarily believes in their causes, but he is out for glory so his name will be remembered throughout the ages. Well he has had success since of course there is a tendon in the body named after him. Not to ruin the movie, but Achilles' heel becomes his Achilles' heel. I thought this movie was ok, but nothing spectacular. It is a bit slow moving for almost the first half of the movie. I was also a little disappointed that Nathan Jones (former WWE superstar and former World Strongest Man) didn't have a bigger role. I would recommend holding off on this movie until it comes out at the video store.
