K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Walking Tall

The Rock plays Chris Vaughn, a military veteran who returns to his hometown after his service time is over. He finds that the old mill that was the town's main source of employment had been replaced by a casino. With the casino came increased drugs, prostitution, and crime. I know what you're saying, sounds good to me too. However, Chris Vaughn doesn't much care for this and following an incident he and his friend (Johnny Knoxville) had with the casino security, Chris decides to run for sherif so he can clean up his town. It's pretty funny after he's elected sherif, Vaughn carries around a big wood board and breaks stuff up with it. It is a pretty simple formula for the Rock's movies, keep them short and keep the action flowing. This isn't the greatest movie of all time, but worth checking out for the lengthy 85 minutes to watch the Rock kick some butt.
