K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Time: approx. 125 min.

Vin Diesel plays Xander Cage aka XXX, an "extreme" athelete turned minor criminal. Samuel L. Jackson is a CIA/FBI-type guy who is having problems getting agents close to an Euro-trash criminal. So Sam Jackson says if he can't get trained people close to the guy, might as well try untrained criminal-types, thus he recruites Xander to go in and get info about the bad guy. This movie is like ESPN's Xtreme Games produced a James Bond movie. I thought this movie should have been called Triple-Boring or Triple-Crappy instead of Triple-X. I like Samuel L. Jackson, but not even he could save this movie. I just don't buy Vin Diesel as being the next big action star. One of the things that I kept thinking during this movie was how I wished that it was Andrew "Dice" Clay instead of Vin Diesel starring. I'm confident that the "Diceman" could have pulled the movie out. I wouldn't even bother renting this movie.
