K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I've seen.

Movie: Bad Boys II

Will Smith teams up with Martin Lawrence again in this action flick. They are two cops that are on a case of a drug smuggler who is importing Ecstasy. A side plot of the movie is that Martin Lawrence's character, Marcus, is sick of Mike's (Will Smith) aggressive style of police enforcement so he would like to be transfered. Another side plot is that Mike is dating Marcus' sister behind his back. I thought this was a pretty decent flick. Nothing to amazingly new about the plot, but it had lots of gun play. I didn't quite understand how Mike could afford to drive a Ferari on a cop's salary. Perhaps they explained that in the first movie. I don't think I ever saw that movie. Maybe I have and I just don't remember. Anyway, I would say this movie is a solid action flick. Lots of bullets flying and a pretty good car chase. I did think it was stretched out a bit too long like most movies these days. All in all, I would check out this movie. As a side note, I was disappointed that there were no extras on the DVD that I've come to expect. Also I forgot to mention that in my review of Pirates of the Caribbean.
