K Dogg’s Quick Movie Review

Here’s a short review of a recent movie I’ve seen.

Movie: Daredevil

Starring: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Colin Farrell

Co-starring: Michael Clarke Duncan, Jon Favreau

Rated PG-13

Time: approx. 110 min.

Ben Affleck plays an attorney Matt Murdock who turns out to have uncanny abilities despite being blinded after an accident as a child. After his father was murdered by criminals, Matt Murdock decides to become a superhero, Daredevil, so he can "right" injustices that slip through the judicial system. The Daredevil is framed by the Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) for the murder of his girlfriend's (Jennifer Garner) father. The Kingpin also sends out an assassin play by Colin Farrell to kill the Daredevil. This movie is better than I was expecting. I wasn't banking to much on Ben Affleck on playing a superhero. It is kind of a chick-flick of a superhero movie. For example, the Daredevil has to stay in to spend time with the girlfriend even though he hears a crime in progress. You wouldn't hear of Superman, Batman, or Spider-Man doing some crap like that. This movie is a hell of a lot better than The Hulk the other most recent comic book movie. All in all, the movie is worth renting.
